The Mitsubishi F940GOT-LWD-E (F940GOTLWDE) is a F900GOT series touchscreen operator interface. The operator interface data memory is built-in at 512kB. The front panel touchscreen dimensions are (height times width) 130mm by 162mm (5.12in by 6.38in). The effective display based on a diagonal measurement is 5.7 inches, and its height times width measurement is 86mm by 115mm (3.39in by 4.53in). The resolution of the F940GOT-LWD-E touchscreen is 320 x 240 dots, fitting 40 characters per line on 15 lines. This operator interface display can have a life of 50,000 hours or more as long as working temperatures remain around a stable 25°C (77°F).

The F940GOT-LWD-E operator interface has a current consumption of 390mA/24VDC and it is able to withstand the voltage of 500VAC for one minute. The insulation resistance for this touchscreen is 5MΩ. There is an incorporated battery compartment for the PM-20BL battery. The F940GOT-LWD-E has two built-in interfaces, a RS-422 and a RS-232C interface which permits the touchscreen operator interface to connect to many PLCs from the following series: the Melsec-F FX, the MELSEC A, the Melsec-QnA, and the Melsec-Q series and the FREQROL series inverter.

The F940GOT-LWD-E touchscreen has an enclosure rating of IP65F for the front panel. This enclosure rating denotes that this product is entirely protected from impinging dust and from direct water exposure from low-pressured jets. In addition to this, the touchscreen is protected from oil complicity. The ambient temperatures of the F940GOT-LWD-E should be between "0-50 degrees Celsius (32-122 degrees Fahrenheit)" to maintain efficiency in operation.
